71 Members and 3 guests were hugely entertained by Sam Peacock, a local artist who explained his techniques, showed us examples of his work and sketched a still life in charcoal to demonstrate proportion for us.
Abundance
Joyce Pountain from Abundance Wimbledon also told us about this special project to encourage people to pick fruit and eat it. There are many fruit trees around Wimbledon in gardens and public places, but every year a lot of fruit goes to waste. The aim of Abundance is to help people harvest the fruit and make use of it. Volunteers are needed to harvest, distribute and process fruit.
